"The support I received from my teachers and coaches at El Segundo High School prepared me for success in higher education and in my career.  And along the way, I have had the opportunity to give something back to the schools and to the community.  We should take advantage of opportunities while in school, but also consider those opportunities 'on loan' to be paid back later so that others who follow may also benefit."
