For Your Viewing Pleasure
We have added additional links to our "Important Links" page. Gregg McMullin from the class of 1970 has written an excellent article on the 2012 Alumni Baseball Game. Gregg writes a weekly sport's article for the El Segundo Herald covering many of the athletic events at ESHS. I recommend you read Gregg's articles on a weekly basis; they provide
excellent insite into the history of El Segundo High School athletics.
Next we have a link to Paul Collette's blog that is "highlighting" his new novel, "Project F.O.Y". Paul would be extremely happy if you'd read the first couple of chapters and provide any feedback. You can reach
Paul's blog by clicking the previous links or going to the "Important Links" page.
And last, but not least, the "In Memoriam" page has been enhanced with new information and features. Thanks to the fine work of Carl Koppelman, class of
1981, this page has photo montages of many of our deceased alumni in the 1970's and early 1980's. Take
a look. I think you'll enjoy Carl's work!
Oh, and don't forget The 3rd Annual Gathering of Eagles on
Saturday, August 25th. It just happens to coincide with the 15th Annual Main Street Car Show. The flyer is available on the Events page.

The Balding Eagle - May 2012
With all the excitement about publishing short stories, we forgot
to mention the newest edition of "The Balding Eagle" has been posted. And one of our favorite ESHS authors, Howard Rainey, is back at the editor's desk. Welcome

Stories Posted
El Segundo High School has produced many talented writers, some
published authors and others not yet published. We have added to this website a series of short stories that highlight
some of this talent, and will provide you with fond memories of growing up in El Segundo. John Webb, class of 1968,
has written a short story named "Fond Memories". Links to this story can be found on the Class of 1968's page, and the "Important Links" page. Nick Molinaro from the class of 1962 has provided two short stories about his family, brother Sam Molinaro,
class of 1958, and brother-in-law Bob Van Hosen, class of 1950. Links to these articles can be found on the "Important Links" page. The title of Nick's short stories are: "The Wager and the Handshake", and "A Brother Lost: PSA Flight 182". You may go directly to these short stories by clicking on the titles in this paragraph. Enjoy!

Newsletter Mailed on May 7
For our members without valid email addresses, on May 7th we mailed
183 Newletters; hopefully everyone has received theirs by now. Many will be returned because of invalid mailing
addresses. Please make sure your fellow ESHSAA members have supplied us with their current mailing addresses and email
addresses. We'd like to minimize our costs be sending all Newsletters via email (i.e., eNewletters).
The response from our eNewsletter sent on April 24 has been overwhelming. We have attracted many new members since then, and have received many
updates on the status of our alumni. New information on deceased alumni has been added to the "In Memoriam" page.

changes within the ESHS community of friends. The
Announcements section to the left will be updated on an "as needed" basis to keep you informed of changes that take
place on this website and in the ESHS community of friends. This website is easy to navigate and has many tools
to help you find information. Be sure to visit the Help, Sitemap, and the FAQ pages. Your comments
